Veterinarian
Dr. Coston
Dr. Coston was raised in LaPorte, IN and has been working in the veterinary field since he was 15 years old. He attended Purdue University for both his undergraduate years and veterinary school and received his DVM degree in 2016. He practiced in Wisconsin for 3 years before returning to Indiana. Dr. Coston has a passion for small animal and exotic animal medicine, especially reptiles and amphibians. He enjoys fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, and is an active member of Ducks Unlimited.

Office Manager
Samantha
Samantha joined our practice as our office manager, in 2022. Samantha is originally from Wisconsin, but loves the small town feel of Rochester! Samantha and her family have several siamese cats, one dog, and snakes. Samantha’s favorite thing about our clinic is meeting all our clients, and how welcome they’ve made her feel- getting to snuggle their pets is definitely an added bonus! In her free time, Samantha enjoys being outside in the sunshine with her family, and crafting in her studio- her home is constantly being updated as a fun project!

Lead Registered Vet Technician
Amber
Amber is our lead technician. She became interested in veterinary medicine at a very young age - thanks in large part to her paternal grandmother. Once able, Amber attended and graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Fort Wayne. She started at Fulton County Vet in Spring of 2009. She and her family of four currently live in Warsaw with their four dogs, 2 cats and one leopard gecko.

Erica
Erica joined our staff in the fall of 2015 after completing the Veterinary Technician program at Fort Wayne's Vet Tech Institute. Erica has always had a passion for surgery and spends a large portion of her time assisting Dr. Coston while he performs procedures for pets under anesthesia. She has had several different pets herself and currently shares her home with not only her human family but also a mastiff, a shih-tzu and two cats.

Alex
Alex joined our team after graduating from the technician program at IBC in Indianapolis. Alex is returning to her roots, choosing to move back to her hometown after college. She has a passion for exotics medicine and though she enjoys all aspects of caring for animals, surgery is where her heart lies. She has an eclectic group of pets including a dog, a cat, a bird and a gecko. When she's not at work, Alex enjoys a good book, drawing and crafts.

Veterinary Assistant
Mary
Mary grew up in Plymouth, Indiana where she currently resides with her husband, son and 3 dogs; Echo, Ruger, and Aries. Mary has been in the veterinary field since 2016. Growing up, she was a 10 year member of the 4-H dog club and participated in dog shows around Indiana. In her free time Mary enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping.

Hope
Hope has recently joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant. Born and raised in Argos, Hope has a passion for caring for animals of every kind. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2019. She currently lives in Akron on a mini-farm with her fiancé, son and all manner of large and small animals. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Paige
Paige joins us from Knox, Indiana, and has been with FCVC since 2022, as a technician. Paige wakes up every morning thrilled to make new best friends with her patients- pitbulls being her favorite breed! Paige loves the puzzle of reading x-rays, and loves helping the doctors create treatment plans for her patients, and getting to help them heal. In her off time, Paige loves to babysit a menagerie of her relative’s children, saying that all the running and playing keeps her young.

Groomer
Ann
Ann joined Fulton County Veterinary Clinic originally as kennel attendant in January of 2008. She attended Grooming school approximately 10 years ago and has been keeping Fulton County's pets pampered and gorgeous since then. When she's not making pets beautiful, she spends time on many home improvement projects, sewing, and antiquing.

Receptionist
Shana
Shana joined Fulton County Veterinary Clinic in 2015 as a kennel attendant and has made her way over time to the front desk. Though Shana loves each and every critter, she especially enjoys all the unique breeds of dog and cat. She currently has Sphynx cats, Lykoi cats, a Xoloitzcuintli dog and a number of different types of reptiles. She has a passion for photography, enjoys everything to do with autumn, and spends her vacations with her family in Brown County.

SarahBeth
SarahBeth joins us from sunny Texas, and has been with FCVC since 2021. SarahBeth and her husband enjoy hiking, and quiet weekends with their three dogs- two German Shepherds, and one Belgian Malinois. In her free time, SarahBeth enjoys behavioral training rescue and companion animals, as well as assisting with animal rescue- her husband is never quite sure when another rescue dog will make an appearance at home!

Alyssa
Born and raised in Rochester, Alyssa has always had a huge heart for animals, big and small.. Alyssa aspires to live on a hobby farm, in the country with her fiancé and daughter, and she’s well on her way, as she rescues everything from neighborhood cats, to the occasional chick that falls from the nest. Alyssa has a variety, and fluctuating number of her own fur babies at home, including (currently) three cats, two dogs, fish, and her favorite, Thumper the Mini Lop. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys reading, sewing, crocheting, and playing with her daughter…. All while keeping up with her farm chores!

Kristie
Kristie has been taking care of the animals in our facility since 1989. Kristi grew up surrounded by animals and has always had a soft spot for our furry friends. When she's not working, Kristie enjoys traveling both in the United States and abroad. A true outdoors woman, Kristie likes to spend her vacation time hiking, kayaking and fishing.

Amy
She has been a part of our crew since the summer of 2017. Amy lives and breathes animals and animal rescue and is the happiest surrounded by critters. When Amy isn't working you can find her volunteering for the local animal shelter. She has a number of different animals herself and when she's not spending time with them you may find her working on a number of different crafts.
